Welcome, and thank you for taking the first steps towards becoming a Flex MSE Certified Installer!
Please download the Study Materials pack found in Docs and Technical Info, and thoroughly review the contents before taking the test.
The test is considered ‘Open Book’, but it is timed. You will have 2 hours to complete the test and a final score of 70% is required for a passing grade. You can take the test as often as you like. After achieving a passing grade, you will be granted ‘Level 1 (Preferred Installer)’ and be placed on your regional Preferred Installer List.
The intention is that Certified Installers have a thorough working knowledge of the Flex MSE system and will be familiar with the Specifications and other key documents. You should understand the fundamentals of MSE wall construction, the vegetation particulars for Flex MSE, and other system details so you can successfully complete the bulk of your projects on your own, and with confidence.
